Our design process includes the following steps; however, we can easily tailor it to fit the needs of each request or client-desired product.

  1. Requirements meeting — During this phase we will meet with our customers via conference call or in person to fully understand the scope and goals of the project. We will provide materials and samples as necessary as a starting point to ensure all parties are working in accord from the beginning. It is important to address all possible scenarios and options during Phase 1 in order to identify potential pitfalls (distribution, technical requirements, fabric, cost, packaging, paper stock, etc.) before the final phases of production and delivery.
  2. Brainstorming/Design Phase 1 — Discuss ideas and the requirements with other designers to gather creative input in developing two to three layouts or concepts based on the scope and goals of the project. We find that peer review gives us a broader sense of the requirements by viewing different perspectives on the same subject.
  3. Present Design Options — Meet with our customers to present and discuss our designs. At this meeting we will collectively determine the most appropriate and appealing elements from each of the options and develop an approved design concept that incorporates those elements.
  4. Design Phase 2 — Revise the design(s) based on the comments received in Phase 3 to create a comprehensive composite for review and client approval.

  5. Customer Approves Design/Product — Present the final design or layout for client approval. This will ensure all parties are on one accord and eliminates problems concerning the final design. This step also provides the necessary assurance that we will design and produce the given request according to your requirements and satisfaction.

  6. Final design/QA — Incorporate final changes into the approved design or layout.

  7. Blue line proof — Proof or assist in proofing the printer’s blue line. We highly recommend reviewing and never neglecting to proof a blue-line with client approval before going into full production. This is the last opportunity to review a product or design before final production and distribution.

  8. Final production and distribution — Coordinate with the selected subcontractor to ensure the final product is printed and prepared for distribution according to Your Company’s requirements.
